During the first two weeks of February pupils from 2A and 2B participated in a series of sessions about verbal creativity. The sessions were prepared with the help of the Institute for Culture and Society, University of Navarra (European Commission, MSCA project ORFORCREA ) and consisted of two parts: ‘How to tell a story’ and ‘How to write a story’.
The first part, dedicated to oral genres, helped children to learn about the art of telling stories in different parts of the world, as well as make their own stories. The second part focused on the origins of writing and the role literacy has: not only the children learned about the history of alphabet we use today but also mastered their writing skills using ancient Egyptian alphabet and on a real Egyptian papyrus!
